NYPACE Awards Celebration

Since 2012, NYPACE has connected hundreds of under-resourced entrepreneurs to pro-bono consultants, stimulating job creation and sustainable economic development in New York City. NYPACE provides entrepreneurs the strategic guidance to take their businesses to the next level. ​

​Annually in October, NYPACE hosts its fall celebration event. The goal of the event is to celebrate their program and entrepreneurs and thank their sponsors/donors, volunteers, and friends. NYPACE requested Epiphany Blue to provide event planning and management services for its 2022 celebration, with an expected attendance of 250 guests. Epiphany Blue worked collaboratively with our client on finalizing the venue and caterer, designing and decor, procuring vendors, creating the run of show, developing the registration and check-in processes, and identifying key opportunities for audience engagement, including an entrepreneur marketplace and live-action pledge moment. When the client expressed the need for an event emcee but could not identify one they liked, our CEO Tamekia Flowers-Ball channeled one of her many talents and served as the Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening. Our partnership with NYPACE was a success, with NYPACE’s Board Chair proclaiming it was the best event in the past ten years. ​​
